The idea evolved for describing, following and emphasising the beauty in contours of human anatomy with the miniature wearable sculptures that are made of the worlds most precious metals and stones.
When the mind is filled with possibility of shapes, anything can be inspiring. The places that i have been, an object, an emotion, a person or any living thing. i just need to observe and let my imagination to turn into a solid form.
I like to challenge the ingrained prejudice of what constitutes an accessory.
An accessory sharply gives a clue about the personality, vision and mood of the wearer. My intention is to express; masculinty wrapped intense feminine, simple but remarkable, quiet but sharp, delicate but strong, say a little-mean a lot and a rule breaking innovative attitude.
The most fascinating pieces in collections are definitely the rings; they have a high power of expression. Compared to other parts of the body that are ornamented, hands and fingers are the limbs that are frequently in motion. The appearance changes when the ring placed on the finger, concretising the hand. Hands are important. Hands talk, hands do, hands touch.
Inspiration rarely appears all of a sudden in everyday flow. Beautiful results needs conscious and planned work, a long process of focusing on countless varieties for a solution even after a lot of experiments that are likely to fail.
